Weekend Dhamma Talks
Every week, open to everyone, free forever. A teaching from the Pali Canon, spoken plainly; your questions, welcomed sincerely; tea afterwards, where the real conversations happen. Every talk is recorded and released the same week.
This is the heart of the training ground, and it has one rule: nothing said here is beyond questioning.
What happens
- When: Sundays from 10:00 am. Doors open early; you may sit on a chair.
- A talk of about forty minutes on one theme, with everyday examples.
- Your questions, welcomed sincerely — the harder the better.
- Tea afterwards, where the real conversations happen.
Coming up
We are not currently holding weekend Dhamma talks. Next talk coming soon — the calendar will be updated when the schedule resumes.
Join the livestream — every talk, streamed live. The camera faces the teacher, not the audience.

The rhythm of our year
Alongside the weekend talks we keep the uposatha — lunar observance day each fortnight, the season of the rains (vassa — the rains retreat), and the robe-offering at its end (kaṭhina — the robe offering). Each is explained for newcomers on the calendar page. Our clock runs on the moon, not on a marketing season.
Practicalities
- Shoes off at the door; shelves are provided.
- Cushions on the floor, chairs along the side.
Children are welcome to join the Dhamma talks along with everyone else.
Accessible entry and accessible bathroom. Tell us if you need anything else.
Livestream: every talk, at the link above. The camera faces the teacher, not the audience.
